IMO DEPUTY GOV, JUDE AGBASO, FACES IMPEACHMENT

News reaching us implies that the Deputy Governor of Imo State is in a N500 Million scandal. its been alleged that he collected a N500 Million bribe from a construction company before awarding the company a construction contract in Imo State. Problem broke out when the construction company couldn't do their part of the contract which has made the State Assembly to step in. The State Assembly has served Agbaso with impeachment notice which will expire on Tuesday, 11 of March, 2013. The Deputy Governor ran to his boss for help but as you read this, ROCHAS is out of the country. News from the Agbaso camp insinuates that Gov. Okorocha is the man behind this masquerade that wants Agbaso out. It is alleged that there was an agreement between Okorocha and the senior Agbaso, Martins Agbaso, that stipulates that Okorocha will step aside for Martins Agbaso after one term in office. So it seems he still wants to keep his job.

ROCHAS OKOROCHA, THE ROBIN HOOD OF NIGERIAN POLITICS

Imo State Governor, Rochas Anayo Okorocha, is widely celebrated as a top performing Governor. Especially when considering the fact Imo State has been plagued with Governors who love their pockets more than the people who elected them. He has turned the fortunes of the state around, no doubt. But what people don’t know is the secret of his success. Authoritatively OCB (OgeChikero's Blog) can tell you that Gov. Rochas is the Robin Hood of Nigerian politics: he takes from the super rich and gives to the very poor. How? Developments have been unleashed on Imo State and people don’t know how their Gov manages to cough out the capital to simultaneously construct humungous edifices all over the state. Recently he cleared the air on the insinuations that he borrowed huge amounts of money from overseas. Here is the answer to the puzzle: Rochas makes the construction company to run the project to almost 70 percent before he pays the first installment! Your worst day will be if on the day of inspection, he finds fault, which he always does, then you will be asked to demolish and start all over. Mind you, you will bear the cost of the demolished job! Now some of the construction companies have almost finished their projects and they have not been paid. The truth is, the owners of the companies are the big boys from the state who could harm him politically but Rochas doesn’t give a damn! To him, the people deserve the best and for this best he is making the rich pay.
